1. Emily, why are you in Ireland?
Ah, The story of how I came to be in Ireland! The decision to come here, I would say, has been one of the BEST decisions I think I've ever made.
When I began looking into graduate schools after I received my BFA, a friend of mine who studied at the Burren College of Art here in Ireland suggested that I look into the school's graduate program....when I did so, it seemed as though the program, and location, were tailor made for me. The school's main focus is on ideas, not specific media or any particular area of specialization. This appealed to me greatly considering the variety of media and disciplines I've been pursuing
